Yahboom YB-MVP01-V1.0 DC-DC 6-24V to 1.2-24V Step-Down Regulator Module with 5V 3.3V & Display

Overview

This DC-DC adjustable step-down voltage reduction and stabilization module is designed for powering electronic projects and development boards with a wide 6V-24V input range. It provides three independent outputs: a 1.2V-24V adjustable output plus fixed 5V and 3.3V regulated outputs, and includes a digital tube display for real-time output voltage monitoring.

Key Features

• Wide input range: 6V-24V DC input.
• 3-channel independent outputs: 1.2V-24V adjustable output, 5V stable output, 3.3V stable output.
• Digital voltage display: Digital tube displays voltage; voltmeter error: 1%.
• MP2491C regulator solution: Conversion efficiency up to 95%; switching frequency 490kHz (low output voltage ripple).
• Current capability: Single channel supports a maximum load of 5A; when 3 channels work simultaneously, each supports a maximum load of 4.5A.
• Low ripple, stable output: Tested 5V ripple: 52mV; transient voltage drop from 0A to 5A: 200mV.
• Multiple power input interfaces: Supports several input connection methods.
• On-board protection & indicators: Input reverse protection, output over-current protection, hiccup current-limiting protection, over-voltage protection, short-circuit protection, over-temperature shutdown protection; power indicator light and short-circuit indicator/reminder.
• Adjust knob direction: Turning clockwise increases voltage; turning counterclockwise reduces voltage.

Specifications

Interfaces & Terminals

• Input options (6V-24V input):
  • DC5.5*2.5 interface connected to power adapter
  • XH2.54-2Pin interface (battery box input)
  • KF301-2P wiring terminal, spacing 5.08mm
• Output terminals: VADJ-OUT (1.2V-24V adjustable), 5V-OUT (5V stable), 3V3-OUT (3.3V stable), GND
• On-board parts called out: Switch; power indicator light (power input indicator); short-circuit indicator light (short-circuit reminder); reverse polarity protection

Applications

• Arduino, STM32, ESP32, Raspberry Pi power supply
• Embedded controllers and MCU stable power supply
• Smart car/robot power supply, robot competitions, electronics competitions
• Low-voltage and high-voltage electronic module power supply scenarios

Usage Notes

• This is a step-down voltage regulator module: the input voltage must be higher than the set output voltage (recommended to maintain a voltage difference of 0.5V or more).
• Example note provided: for a stable 12V output, recommended input is 12.5V-24V.
• Short circuit reminder: when the output terminal is short-circuited, the power chip triggers protection and the blue indicator light turns off as a reminder to turn off power.
• Thermal design: large-area copper thermal conductive zone on the bottom supports attaching heat sinks (heat sink needs to be prepared separately).

Details

A wide-input buck regulator module for projects that need adjustable voltage plus dedicated 5V and 3.3V rails.

Built-in protection, a real-time voltage display, and multiple input options make wiring and testing faster.

Clearly labeled output terminals help keep the adjustable output separate from the fixed 5V and 3.3V rails.

The MP2491C-based design targets high efficiency and low ripple for sensitive development boards.

Low ripple and controlled transient drop support stable power delivery under changing loads.

Run an MCU, sensors, and peripherals from separate rails without external regulators.

Designed for higher-current builds such as smart cars and robotics power systems.

The onboard digital display makes it easy to dial in the target voltage during setup.

Useful for Arduino, STM32, ESP32, and Raspberry Pi power scenarios where input voltage varies.

Large copper areas on the bottom help spread heat for more consistent performance.

Choose a barrel jack, battery connector, or screw terminal input to match your build.

Typical uses include embedded controllers, electronic modules, lab benches, and robot power distribution.

Integrated protections help safeguard both the power source and connected electronics.

A short-circuit indicator provides a quick visual warning when protection is triggered.

Terminal labels and adjustment direction markings reduce wiring mistakes during installation.

Check the dimensional diagram to confirm clearance for enclosures, standoffs, and connector access.

Two kit options are available: the module alone or a bundle that adds a T-plug power lead.
