Squirrels At Home – 1000 Piece Jigsaw Puzzle (Cobble Hill)

Nine little scenes, nine little squirrels, all busy with jobs around the house. One’s up to its neck in bubbles in the bathtub, another’s ironing a quilt while a sign on the wall reads there’s no place like home, and a third is elbow-deep in the washing machine with a basket of laundry waiting.

Out in the garden a squirrel hauls pumpkins in a wheelbarrow past a white picket fence, while indoors another curls up by a stone fireplace with a heart-patterned cushion. There’s a home office with a microscope and laptop, a workshop with a toolbox and motorbike, and a kitchen dresser stacked with jugs and jars. The photography is sharp and the props are properly done out in miniature, so each panel gives you a fresh set of colours and edges to work through.

With nine distinct scenes to sort, this one suits anyone who likes to build a puzzle section by section rather than tackling one big image at once. A poster is included to help keep track of which squirrel is up to what.
