Shrek – 1000 Piece Jigsaw Puzzle (Ravensburger)

If you grew up with Shrek, this puzzle is going to bring back all the feelings. Ravensburger has packed an absolutely brilliant cast of characters into this lush, forest-set group portrait, and we mean everyone is here. Shrek and Fiona take centre stage, flanked by Donkey, Dragon, Puss in Boots, the Gingerbread Man, and a whole crowd of familiar faces from across the films.

The ornate leopard-print border gives it a proper framed artwork feel, and the rich greens of the swamp forest backdrop make for a surprisingly atmospheric build. There are plenty of distinctly coloured characters to help you find your footing, but the sheer volume of figures and the busy mid-ground will keep you nicely challenged throughout.

Ogre-approved (it literally says so on the box). This one makes a brilliant gift for any DreamWorks fan, and it’s a really satisfying puzzle to put together whether you’re tackling it solo or making it a family evening.
