Dovedale – 1000 Piece Jigsaw Puzzle (FX Schmid – Ravensburger)

There is something wonderfully familiar about this scene: a parent and child carefully picking their way across the famous stepping stones at Dovedale, the River Dove sparkling beneath them, while the dramatic limestone pinnacles rise up against a bright summer sky.

The artwork is packed with gorgeous detail: peacock butterflies resting on lush waterside plants, mallards bobbing on the river, dandelion clocks drifting in the breeze, and a sparrowhawk soaring overhead. The surrounding valley is alive with walkers exploring the hillsides, making it a real joy to piece together bit by bit.

If you’ve ever walked Dovedale in the Peak District, this will bring it all flooding back. And if you haven’t: well, consider this your invitation. A thoroughly satisfying 1000-piece puzzle that captures a quintessentially British day out in beautiful style.
