Confectionery – 1000 Piece Jigsaw Puzzle (Schmidt)

If youve ever wanted to move into a cake shop for the afternoon, this ones for you. Confectionery is a proper feast of a puzzle, packed with patisserie counters piled high with macarons, meringues, iced sponges and neat little stacks of biscuits.

Its the sort of image thats ridiculously satisfying to build: you can tackle it shelf by shelf, pick off the pastel colours as you go, and enjoy all those tiny details as they appear (piped swirls, glossy glazes, and plates crammed with treats). Just try not to get hungry halfway through.

A brilliant choice for cosy evenings, and a sweet pick for anyone who loves baking, cafs and colourful still-life scenes.
