Canal Grande, Venicee 1000 Piece Jigsaw Puzzle (Trefl)

Dusk on the Grand Canal, and the sun is going down behind the great domed church at the bend, turning half the sky gold and the other half violet. Every palazzo along both banks has its windows lit, and all of it comes back doubled off the water.

A gondola slips out from the mooring posts below you, and a water taxi leaves a long white wake down the middle of the canal.
