A Welcome Delivery by Terry Harrison – 250XL Piece Jigsaw Puzzle (Gibsons)

There is something wonderfully nostalgic about this charming scene by Terry Harrison. A classic Morris Minor van has pulled up in a quintessential English village: the kind with a proper stone bridge, a duck pond, a Village Store, and a church tower poking above the trees in the background.

A mother and her children have stopped for a chat with the delivery man, ducks are bobbing about in the ford, and the whole street is lined with gorgeous timber-framed cottages bathed in warm summer light. It feels like a scene from a time when life moved at a gentler pace, and honestly, who wouldn’t want to be there?

Terry Harrison has packed this painting with beautifully observed detail (the hanging flower baskets, the red poppies along the fence, the old stone bridge), making the build genuinely enjoyable as you piece together all those lovely little moments. At 250XL pieces, this is a brilliant choice for puzzlers who want a satisfying, visually rich experience without it taking over the dining table for a fortnight.

A perfect gift for lovers of British village life, classic vehicles, or anyone who appreciates a really lovely piece of nostalgic art.
