Lady Bug Lane – 1000 Piece Jigsaw Puzzle (Ravensburger)

The path through the middle is a rich orange-red, winding past houses that lean at odd angles in pink, teal, purple and mustard. A trumpet player balances up on a lamppost while someone works a saxophone down at street level, and if you look closely there are ladybirds dotted right through the flowers and leaves lining the lane.

It’s a good one for sorting by colour first: the buildings break into clear blocks of pink, purple, orange and green, so you can group those before tackling the busier foliage in the foreground. This is the 2025 edition used in the World Jigsaw Puzzle Championship Final Teams event, so it’s been built at speed by some very quick hands, but there’s no reason not to take your time with it.

Good one for anyone who likes their puzzles a bit theatrical: musicians, crooked houses, ladybirds and all.
