Overview

The EYOU RHU17L-60 is a harmonic-reducer robot joint actuator for humanoid robot applications. It operates at a rated 48 VDC and is offered with 50, 80, or 100 reduction-ratio options and with or without a brake. A built-in driver, dual absolute encoder, EtherCAT/CANopen communication, and multiple output-performance values support configuration for the selected ratio.

Features

  • Harmonic reducer with built-in driver.
  • Dual absolute encoder: motor side 17Bit and reducer side 19Bit.
  • Driver interfaces: Power (DC in DC out), CAN FD (In,Out), EtherCAT (In,Out), and STO (1,2).
  • Communication protocols: EtherCAT / CANopen.
  • Control modes: Profile Position (PP), Profile Velocity (PV), Profile Torque (PT), Cyclic Synchronous Position (CSP), Cyclic Synchronous Velocity (CSV), etc.
  • Brake options: Without Brake or With Brake.

Product Views

The product graphic is labeled RHU17L-60. The connector-face view shows multiple rectangular electrical connectors. The RHU series is identified as a humanoid harmonic-drive robot actuator series.

Features and Design

The RHU series is built for the bionic joints of humanoid robots. The RHU series focuses on light-load, high-frequency commercial scenarios. The graphic describes very high torque output from a small body and high power density. The graphic states that the actuator integrates a standards-compliant Safety Torque Off (STO) function and an electromagnetic brake. The stated STO function and electromagnetic brake form a dual safety system for humanoid robot joints, providing protection from the signal layer to the physical layer.

Interfaces and Connections

The humanoid-specific architecture offers terminal-block and flying-lead standard interfaces. The stated interface arrangement supports flexible electrical integration of the joint module.
